After earning numerous major accolades for Someday You’ll Die, her second special for HBO, comedian Nikki Glaser has inked a deal for a Hulu special that will tape at the Fabulous Fox Theatre in her hometown of St. Louis, MO this month.

No word yet on what Glaser will discuss in the special. She’ll exec produce alongside Emmy-winning director Hamish Hamilton, her collaborator on Someday You’ll Die, who will also helm her new hour. It’ll be produced by Done + Dusted, with Emmy winners David Jammy and Chris Convy also exec producing, along with Alex Murray.

Glaser’s special will debut in 2026, streaming on Disney+ internationally. Hulu’s move to lock down Glaser’s next hour speaks to an ambitions to solidify its place as a major player in the stand-up space alongside Netflix.

At the peak of her career right now, Glaser’s last special, 2024’s Someday You’ll Die, set the record for both the best premiere night for an HBO comedy special in more than two years and the #1 largest streaming audience for a Comedy Special in HBO Max/Max history. it earned her nominations for an Emmy, a Grammy, a Golden Globe, a Critics Choice Award, and a WGA Award for Comedy/Variety Special, which she won.

While Glaser has been working as a stand-up for more than two decades, she really caught fire in 2024 as a standout on Netflix’s Emmy-nominated The Greatest Roast of All Time: Tom Brady. She released Someday You’ll Die shortly thereafter and subsequently went on to earn rave reviews at top of 2025 as the first solo female host of the Golden Globes, leading to her being invited back as host for the 2026 ceremony. Glaser’s recent wins culminated in her being named Comedian of the Year for 2024 by The New York Times and one of Time’s Most Influential People of 2025.

Currently on her Alive And Unwell tour across the U.S., Canada and Australia, which wraps up this month, Glaser will be seen coming up in a Paramount comedy inspired by the classic game MASH, which she’s also co-writing and producing. She is represented by UTA, Brillstein Entertainment Partners, and Ginsburg Daniels Kallis.
